AAPI Heritage Month in the 518

In honor of Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, we celebrate the vast tapestry of history, achievements, and the myriad experiences of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders living in the Capital Region. AAPI Heritage Month 518 not only demonstrates that our vibrant and diverse community is a part of the Capital Region’s story, but a reminder that we are shaping and advancing it’s future, too. 

All local events are organized by a small, grassroots group of Asian Americans dedicated to fostering community, belonging, and mattering.  

Special thanks to our friends in Cincinnati and Memphis for showing us the way and inspiring us to bring AAPI Heritage Month to the Capital Region.  Join us in this vibrant celebration!
